Welcome to

Milkhouse Lops Rabbitry

We are located in Prosser, WA and raise exclusively
Mini Lops for breeding, show and pets. My primary purpose is producing breeding and show quality Mini Lops.

You may contact me via email by clicking here.

I have been breeding and involved in American Rabbit Breeder
Association, ARBA, since 1998, and Mini Lop Rabbit Club of America, MLRCA since 2003.

I'm District 1 Director for the MLRCA, and Vice President of the Northwest Mini Lop Club, NWMLC.

I now have about a 30+ hole Rabbitry. My Rabbitry is an old milk house, hence the name of the Rabbitry.
The barn has concrete floors and concrete block walls up about 4 feet.
The rest of the barn is wood construction. The concrete floor and walls help maintain cooler temperatures in the summer and warmer in the winter. There are numerous windows on two sides and doors on each end for ventilation.

After a few years in this hobby I purchased some Extrona Cages. These work really well for the breeding does. The nest box is attached to the back of the cage and the doe accesses it through a hole. The nest box is lower than the floor of the cage by about 5" and gives the doe a feeling of going into a hole. They and the kits seem to do very well in these, it gives them a sense of security. I can then open the nest box from the outside and access the kits with the doe locked out. The remainder of the cages consists of 3 hole stackers.

I hope you enjoy your visit to our site and please, come back soon!
Feel free to contact me to see what I may have for sale and what shows I plan to attend.
